This facility is for men only over the age of 18.

Criteria for admission
Participant accepted for program must have a primary substance abuse problem and meet one of the following criteria.

1. Primary substance abuse problem:alcohol, heroin, poly-drugs(i.e. prescription drugs, amphetamines, barbiturates)

2. Previous pattern of substance abuse, but not using substance at present and is in danger of relapse.

3. Pending legal problems of such a nature as not to encumber the participant's position in treatment.

4. No major physical or phychiatric disabilities, which preclude participation in the program structure, and/or activites.  We are handicap accesible, with limited availability.

5. Participant must be willing to accept program rules and structural limitiation prior to admission.

6. Exclusion may occur in cases where the person's history indicates excessive violence. It will be determined on an individual basis. Sex Offenders and Arsonists will not be accepted (Arson cases will be reviewed)

All above crtieria is ultimately determined by staff according to all relative factors concerning the participants involvement. Services are terminated whenever there is evidence that the level of service does not meet the requirements of the State of California Standards for Drug Treatment Programs and the Federal Regulations for the need of the participant.

Our Home

Hilltop Recovery Services - HRS is Lake County's only non-profit mens' substance abuse residential treatment facility.

With the help of the communities presence we have been approaching new and unseen programs located in Lake County.The help of  the community has introduced  to participants of Hilltop Recovery a new way life thru outside functions based in recovery and abstinance.

With the help of the community we have initiated a program, lake County Green, through a cooperative effort with North Cal Wood Products to refurbish recycled products for use in the form of patio furniture and items made to order.

This in turn helps to promote residence responsibility, job related work skills, and ultimately provide funding for indigent applicants.

We are a community of free thinkers and as such we encourage the individual on a individual bases to reaffirm there own empowerment in todays society.

To allow our residents the ability  inspire, as well as aspire to be the best they so chose to be.

For after all it is not what we want them to be, but who they want to be that makes the process of growth and stability the main goals in are program.

Our facility addresses a wide range of individual needs. The diversity of our population adds to the quality of services that we provide. Based on a peer support system many of the recovering individuals find a new meaning of selflessness by offering their love and support to thier peers.
